If I might critique though (and maybe this comes up in the sermon) all of those stories share one distinct difference with the biblical narrative; that it is clear who is good and who is bad, and that the good guys always use violence properly to vanquish evil. Christ wins the battle, but he does so by surrendering himself and forgiving his enemies rather than killing them.
While some might say that’s not a big deal – it seems to be to be terribly important.
